Contribution of AZSamhita

COVID-19 Relief for India
We at AZ Samhita launched an urgent fundraising campaign in May 2021 to support India during the devastating COVID-19 crisis. Through our community’s generous support, we raised $2,302 through our Facebook fundraiser. Additionally, we contributed $5,000 to United Way Worldwide’s India COVID-19 Relief Fund, helping provide critical services including food, shelter, hygiene kits, and essential medical equipment to those most affected by the pandemic.

Recognizing the growing hunger crisis in our own backyard, we partnered with Feeding America to combat food insecurity during Thanksgiving. Our food donation drive helped support their mission of “Help End Hunger Today,” ensuring that families in need could enjoy a proper holiday meal. We believe that no one should face hunger, especially during the festive season.

Working alongside The Salvation Army, we proudly supported their “Operation Rescue Christmas” initiative. This program helped provide food, shelter, and hope to nearly 40 million people facing poverty. Our contribution helped ensure that families in our community could experience the joy and warmth of the holiday season despite their challenging circumstances.

Understanding the importance of helping all members of our community, including our four-legged friends, we actively support the Central Arizona Animal Rescue. Through our GoFundMe campaign, we help provide essential care and support for animals in need, demonstrating our commitment to animal welfare in Arizona.

As Winston Churchill said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” This quote embodies our approach to community service. We are dedicated to creating positive change through direct action and meaningful partnerships, whether it’s supporting global crisis relief or addressing local community needs.
